With more than 80 superyachts on display, with a total worth of €3 billion, 94 m superyacht by Feadship was one of the largest and most elegant yachts launched this year, and it was truly a showstopper, featuring the world´s one and only superyacht LED TV: C SEED Supermarine 201 TV
The yacht owner’s ‘less is more’ philosophy, has influenced every aspect of the design, both inside and out, with an abundance of clean lines. The remarkable exterior design by Feadship De Voogt and Azure, features impressive floor-to-ceiling glass windows which play a key role in the open beach-house-style interior, by Peter Marino Architects.
The same minimalistic principle was also followed when it came to the entertainment technology. Hidden when not in use, the unfolding C SEED 201 Supermarine TV will turn the deck of the superyacht into a high-end theater by a simple button push. The C SEED Supermarine TV takes only 30 seconds to rise to its impressive height of 3 m (9.8 ft.) with effortless ease.
Once lifted and unfolded, the TV can rotate 180 degrees via remote control, to face the owner and the guests at the perfect viewing angle. It has an exceptional luminosity of 4,000 nits and a contrast ratio of 7,000:1. Together with the latest LED and 16 bit color depth, it produces a crystal clear picture, even in glaring daylight conditions. Construction utilizes marine-grade aluminum and steel, both of which can be finished to match the design aesthetics of a contemporary superyacht.
