Technical Sales Manager

About the job

Technical sales manager Europe will work from C SEED Headquarter in Vienna, Austria with EMEA Sales Director to create a sales strategy based on market research and sales data. Responsible for ensuring customers receive exceptional technical support and customer service in the assigned region.


  • Develops and services assigned territory, including geographic region proposed
  • Answers technical enquiries as well as application-related or sales-related standard questions by phone, email and in person.
  • Tracks the sales processing status of all support tickets in the product area
  • Supports subsidiaries and sales partners during installations and commissioning to the customer's site
  • Sells current and new products, recommending/sharing changes and trends seen in the field in targeted markets
  • Visits customers and potential customers to develop relationships, follow up on leads, provide technical information
  • Researches customers’ needs and resolves problems
  • Achieves key metrics (customer/prospect visits per month)
  • Builds and maintains a close working relationship with Sales, Technical and After Sales staff
  • Provides feedback to internal teams as well as with EMEA Sales Director regarding competition, pricing, and marketing opportunities
  • Provides updates of individual sales forecast to EMEA Sales Director
  • Travels up to 50% of the time (EMEA-area)


  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field
  • Minimum 7 years of technical sales experience – Audio-Visual industry experience is a plus
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both technical and business terms
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Ability to make decisions and evaluations to determine the needs of the customers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce is a plus
